How do I wash my Patchwork Scarf?
Patchwork Scarf Care:
Spot clean if possible. Please follow the directions on the items tag. It will direct you to wash on delicate in a mesh/ lingerie bag or tied pillow case and make sure the water is cool.
Do NOT put the Patchwork Scarf in the dryer-let it air dry on a hanger. You may iron the cotton pieces on the front side but not the fleecy squares or the reverse fleecy side or they will most assuredly melt and stick to the iron.
There is just no way to know how each washing machine will affect the items, however, they are all sturdily made and should stand the test of time. Just give proper attention prior to washing and that will ensure that it stays in fine condition.
Are The Swedish Flicka Patchwork Scarves REALLY one-of-a-kind?
YES! We make everything in small batches here, so even if we use similar fabrics and patterns, and square placement, there will never ever be two Patchwork Scarves that are exactly alike. So each one is truly a unique masterpiece!
How do I clean my Rag Rug?
You can throw the Rag Rug into the washing machine on gentle cycle with as little agitation as possible, and air dry over a stair banister OR chair back until completely dry. However, a very old fashioned & traditional way of cleaning a Rug is the freezing snow method. On a cold, clear day (25°F/ - 3° or colder) with at least several inches of fresh powder snow, take the Rug outside and leave it for a couple of hours until it has frozen. Lay the stiff carpet in the snow and whack the exposed surface with a broom. Shake the rug out, turn it over on a fresh patch of snow, and beat the other side. If you wait for a cold, dry day, the rug will barely become wet when you clean it this way. Just brush off any loose snow before you take it inside.

How do I wash my Patchwork Baby Blankie?

We understand baby accessories require lots of washing. So to extend the life of your Blankie, we suggest washing it on a delicate cycle. It has already been washed and dried here at our studio so we hope your washing machine is as gentle as ours.

The instructions do tell how to make a coaster using a traditionally sized potholder loom. The instructions were easy to understand and I was able to create the coaster.
